This loving feline couldn’t get any more affectionate. As my husband and I were standing by the glass, this kitty was squishing his face against the window attempting to get petted. With stunning green eyes this cat would make a great addition to any home. You can find this kitty at the Bay County Animal Shelter located in Bay City, Mi.

Gluten-Free S’mores Pie!!!

Are you cheering!!! I am! I found this great concept out on pinterest and I though I should try making my own.

Now, I must say that try as I might, this pie does not photograph well. From the moment you cut into it; it oozes marshmallow and chocolate goodness.

It has a gluten-free crust made from cinnamon & sugar Grammy Crisps mixed with a sugar cookie like dough,  yum!!!

Gluten-Free Confetti Cake Part II

Here’s the completed gluten-free confetti cake for my new, fabulous client. With her favorite color of dark blue, this confetti cake has blue in the flowers and has blue ombre frosting inside. The piping decor on this cake includes: star flowers around the base, reverse scroll piping around the top, buttercream roses and a banded buttercream pattern on the sides.  This cake serves 15-20 people.

Of course, what really matters is the heart of a person, whether Jesus Christ has saved you and lives in your heart. So I guess you can look at this as a sweet parable of the truth. Just as in souls, what truly matters is what is on the inside of your heart.

Gluten Free, Sugar Free Peanut Butter Cookies

Here’s a recipe for great tasting gluten free, sugar free peanut butter cookies!

makes 1 dozen cookies

Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free Peanut Butter Cookies

3/4 cup gluten-free peanut butter

1/2 cup stevia

1/4 cup white rice flour

2 egg whites

a dash of salt, cinnamon and gluten free vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

Mix together all of the listed ingredients. On a parchment paper covered cookie sheet, place rolled balls of cookie dough two inches apart. The cookie dough balls should be 1 tablespoon of dough each, approximately. Press a crisscross pattern on the cookie tops, using fork tines.

Bake for 10 min. Cool completely before removing them from the cookie sheet, and enjoy!

It may be a little early to be thinking about Valentines’ Day, but it is never to early to show your special someone how much you care.

In this freezing Michigan weather, my husband comes home from work chilled and cold. What better way to show him how much I love him than with a piping hot cup of cocoa and a chocolate heart petit four waiting for him at the door.
